    What is Corporate Social Responsibility?

    Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the commitment businesses make to operate ethically and contribute positively to society while minimizing environmental harm. It goes beyond meeting legal requirements, focusing on voluntary actions that promote sustainability, social welfare, and responsible governance. Common CSR practices include reducing environmental impact, supporting community initiatives, fostering diversity and inclusion, and maintaining transparency. By embedding CSR into their core strategy, companies strengthen stakeholder trust, enhance brand reputation, and help achieve long-term social and environmental goals aligned with global sustainability standards.

    Our Goals

    Environmental Responsibility: Allpack aims to reduce its effect on the Environment in a number of ways, including but not limited to:

    • Reduce Scope 1, 2 and 3 Green House Gase (GHG) emissions by 30% by 2030 by:
      • Scope 1 - Introducing electric vehicles into the fleet where practical
      • Scope 2 - Reduction of energy and water waste across the site.  
      • Scope 3 - Investment in new, modern delivery fleet.  Consolidation of deliveries/maximising full container loads where practical
    • Reduction is electrical consumption 2025 to 2030 with incremental 10% annual reduction by using renewable energy where available
    • Achievement of Carbon Neutral status by 2050

    Philanthropic Responsibility:  Actively seeking to make a difference to our local and wider community by investing in local charities and projects.

     

    Ethical Responsibility:  Ensuring that the business and its suppliers operate in a fair and ethical manner and treating its employees and those of its suppliers with respect and dignity.  In order to achieve this, Allpack has developed an Ethical Trading Policy which it will encourage all of it's supplier to sign up to.

     

    Economic Responsibility: Backing the Environmental, Philanthropic and Ethical responsibilities with the financial resources to meet the goals and that the pursuit of business profit aligns with the overall positive impact our the local community, employees and business partners.
